Below are important dates and times for Graduation & Events!

Senior End of the Year Letter (English & Spanish)

• • Tuesday, May 10th: Cap & Gown Pictures at Taft 7-12 – 9:30am in the Library

GET GRADUATION TICKETS!! At the Cap & Gown Pictures student will receive their 6 tickets for graduation.  If students can not be at the pictures then they can pick up their tickets at the front office. If families would like to request more tickets then they may email Principal Mr. Lupo to make arrangements-  nick.lupo@lincoln.k12.or.us

• • May 31st to June 3rd: Senior Finals – Complete all assignments, projects, and assessments
  • Thursday, June 2nd: Senior Awards Night at Taft 7-12- 6:00pm 
  • Monday, June 6th: Senior Check-Out at Taft 7-12 – 9:00am to 3:00pm
    •  Check-out form must be completed and turned into the counseling center in order to walk at graduation, receive diploma, and attend the Epic Senior Send-Off
    • Return all LCSD materials, Chromebook, calculators, and books
    • Pay all fees
    • Return any athletic equipment
    • Edmentum Students’ Last Day of work submission
    • Epic Senior Send-Off permissions slips must be submitted to the office by noon
  • Tuesday, June 7th: Epic Senior Send-Off! Bus leaves Taft 7-12 at 7:00am and returns at 4:30pm
    • TO ATTEND:
      • Senior check-out must be completed and submitted to the counseling center by June 6th at 3:00pm
      • Permission slips must have been received by June 6th at noon
      • Seniors must have no outstanding suspensions, fines, and be ready to walk at graduation 
  • Wednesday, June 8th: Last Chance check-out at at Taft 7-12 -9:00am to 3:00pm
    • Return all LCSD materials, Chromebook, calculators, and books
    • Pay all fees
    • Return any athletic equipment
    • Cap and Gown Parade permissions slips must be submitted to office by noon
  • Thursday, June 9th: Cap & Gown Parade at Taft Elementary & Oceanlake Elementary
    • TO ATTEND:
      • Permission slips must have been received by June 8th at noon to attend
    • Seniors Last Day of School
  • Friday, June 10th: Graduation Practice
    • 8:45am – Senior Breakfast
    • 9:00am – Graduation Practice: All graduates must be present for practice if they want to walk in the ceremony
    • Senior Lunch

• Saturday, June 11th: GRADUATION

• • Location: Taft High School 

  • Start time: 10:22am

    • Doors open at 9:30 am
    • Senior must be there at 9:15 am
